Web Solutions is a professional web design & internet marketing
company that has been operating successfully since 2007. We specialize
not only in building websites but effective marketing tools, helping
our clients bring in new customers and expanding their business
through the power of the web. We serve clients primarily in Alberta
but have also worked with companies across Canada and even throughout
North America.
Advance began as a part-time
freelance web company known as Moyer Media Solutions founded by
now owner Jeff Moyer. Mr. Moyer upon graduating
from the SAIT Multimedia Program joined the SAIT Student Connection
Program where he was the co-head of their web & graphic services
department. The SCP team built websites, software tutorials and
graphic material for SAIT
College along with external clients as a full scale
business.
Mr. Moyer through is experiences
at SAIT would eventually venture on his own as a freelance web
designer. During his time working as a freelancer he worked with
many small to medium sized businesses that wanted a quality web
presence but didn't have the budget to hire a large scale design
firm. This lead Mr.Moyer to refocus his business on finding the
most affordable yet quality solutions available for the most requested
services clients would ask for.
This concept would create what
is now known as Advance Web Solutions. In 2005. Mr.Moyer expanded
his company to offer a greater variety of services through building
a network of contract developers along with affiliations with
many web/graphic companies throughout the city. As our skills
and abilities started to grow as did our number of client as well.
We now work with companies in
Calgary (and beyond) of all sizes from single-owned businesses
to large scale corporations. Our mission still remains to provide
all clients with the best affordable options for their money making
sure there is value for every dollar spent through the CWDN. Our
list of services continues to grow and now
includes web design, graphic design,
search engine marketing, social media marketing, traditional advertising,
full scale print services, photography, cell phone aps, computer
repair and more.
Advance has helped many
entrepreneurs and start-up companies grow their businesses from
the ground up and many established companies take their business
to the next level.
Our company is also very active
in promoting the web design industry throughout Alberta and participate
regularly in various web related programs. We offer practicums
and learning opportunities to university/college students looking
to gain work experience and one day work in the industry. We also
conduct business seminars, networking events and one on one training
with business owners helping them understand how to use the power
of the web to help their business.

Jeff
Moyer - Owner & Creative Director
Advance Web Solutions is owned
and operated by Jeff Moyer who began his career at SAIT College
where he was a graduate of both the Print Management and New Media
Programs. He also holds an additional Web Masters certificate
from SAIT College specializing in web design. Mr.Moyer upon graduation
worked as the head of the SAIT Student Connection Program and
also had several other career experiences while building his own
company. He worked as a graphic designer for Splash Print & Design
and The Calgary Sport & Social club. He also has worked as a freelance
journalist for a local Calgary news company along with several
popular online blogs.
Today Jeff works full-time as
the owner of Advance and is also part owner in other various companies
including Helping Hands Calgary and Hydra Taekwondo. His interests
include of course web design and computers along with hockey,
martial arts, video games and spending time with his wife and
four kids.
Mrs. Ferris is a top sales representative
for Advance Web Solutions and is also responsible for the day
to financial operations of the CWDN. She has helped bring in many
clients through networking, identifying potential industry opportunities
and building strong business relationships with existing customers.
She also serves as company bookkeeper and accountant.
Lisa began her career as an accountant for
an independent home based firm working in the oil & gas industry
in various roles for closer to ten years. She also has management
experience in restaurants and an extensive background in customer
service. Before moving to Calgary Lisa went to school in the city
of Nainimo B.C. majoring in aesthetics.

Darren Lo is works for Advance in the
role of web consultant and web/graphic designer. Darren was a
graduate of the SAIT multimedia program and upon graduation was
hired by the school as a member of the Student Connection Program.
Mr .Lo along with Jeff Moyer ran the day to day operations of
the SCP multimedia department creating design material for both
internal and external clients.
Mr. Lo would later work as a graphic
designer for various Chinese newspapers throughout Calgary having
his work published in many prominent publications. Along with
his graphic accomplishments Darren also ran and operated his own
successful freelance web design Titan Intellect.
Today Darren works alongside our company
and is also employed by ( ) as a training software designer and
animation specialist. He is known for his elite artistic abilities
and has worked on illustrations for children's books and other
high profile ads.
